The toy car has a top speed of over 3 meters a second when in bright enough sunlight, it is also able to go up hills with a 30 degree incline or less. The car measures roughly 21 cm x 8 cm (8.27 in x 3.15 in) and is recommended for ages 8 and up. The Solar Powered Car Toy is an engaging way to educate a child about solar power through play and provides a child with an interesting moving toy car that does not require batteries.
The Solar Powered Race Car Toy includes all the parts required to construct a fully working toy race car. The car has been designed with an aerodynamic shape to help it truly race along when in sunlight with a bright orange chassis to allow it to be clearly seen. By constructing the toy car a child will gain satisfaction of constructing something from scratch and learn how the parts of a car go together. The assembling of the car includes building the motor and chassis, fitting the wheels, making up the gearbox, and attaching the solar panel to the top of the car.
This is provided in kit form to help promote learning through play. By constructing the toy car and watching it race along in the light the kit helps to demonstrate the abilities of solar power while being an engaging fun toy.
Interested parties are asked to consider sponsoring a modified toy car for $200. They can also consider making a tax deductible donation to Talking Hands Inc. so the organization can continue serving local families and children.

Re: Vintage Toy Car - Blue
I really like this. It brings to mind the Pinewood Derby cars I made as a kid (without the windup key of course). Very well done
