So I collected all the pirate party favors and then took plain brown lunch paper bags; I drew a skull, with dotted lines like in a map and add a large red x with the wording “We arrgh so glad you came!” I also customized this great free printable from brother by adding each child’s name and attaching the ships to the party favor bag. I filled each party favor bag with pirate goodies, all bought at various places with the exception of the handmade telescopes (instructions here). The bags included compass rings, eye patches, Jake and the Neverland Pirate crayons, pirate pencil, gold necklace and a ring pop. Each kid also received a foam sword with their pirate party favor bag! These were great additions to this special party. I gave them to the kids as they arrived instead of at the end. This way they were able to use the bags for keeping the hidden treasure they found during the party. And it provided them with some pirate wardrobe accessories!
