  • I am doing this review after four years of daily use of my Phil and Teds Sport.

It was bought because I had my two boys only 12 months apart.

    Pros:
    narrow
    easy to fold
    easy to adjust handlebar
carries two children of different sizes well
    basic frame is robust
    can carry tons of shopping

    Cons:
    tyres needed replacing early on
basket whacks on pavements and needs replacement
cocoon only ever lasts til 4 months with any baby
the system of 4 separate straps is a nightmare - trying to delve the straps out from underneath baby or toddler to do them up has had me cursing hundreds of times. The ones on the newer version are much better.
the fabric strips snapped off the zips very quickly
the baby in the back can touch the spokes of the wheels while they are going round
it tips if the front child gets out before the back child, leaving the back child tipping backwards in the pushchair and whacking their heads on the ground

When I first bought by Phil and Teds sport 2 years ago on the birth of my second child, I thought it was brilliant. 2 years on and with a 3rd child in toe I have really fallen out of love with it. I am using it more than ever at the moment and a there are a few real problems that I've found.
The biggest problem is the stability when used in toddler/toddler mode. It's downright dangerous. Twice now my babies head has hit the ground when my toddler has got out of the front. They say you must always have a child in the front if you have one in the back but this is just so impractical and in the heat of the moment you don't always remember. Arriving at the park and having to swap your baby into the front is a real pain. If you put the heavier child in the back then the whole thing feels unbalanced anyway and there is no room for their feet and shopping.
We have also had no end of problem with the wheels and tyres. As well as multiple punctures we have actually had the wheel rim melt in the boot of the car on a hot day and had to replace the wheel.
There are always arguments about who sits in the front and the child in the front can't have the seat reclined without seriously restricting the space for the child in the back.
The buggy is heavy to lift into car and actually not that manoeuvrable when you've got two in there.
Yes I really don't like this pushchair. I have decided to buy an out and about nipper 360 double to see me through my final year of double buggy use. I hope this is much much better.

Made up with our Phil and Teds buggy. Its fantastic and the best that we could find for a toddler and a baby at the same time. Really easy to manoeuver round the shops and on the grass in the park. Allthough they are reasonably expensive they hold their value really well so we sold ours on for not much less than we paid new. The only issue i has is it is quite heavy to get in and out of the car.

Phil and Teds Smart Buggy Complete package DEMO

We received this highchair as a gift, and it may be one of the best baby products we have! Super sleek design, easy to "install", easy to clean, a very secure fit to the table. We use this chair for our second child at our kitchen island. After purchasing its predecesor (metoo chair) for our older son, I was tempted to return this after we received it as a gift. So happy we kept it, considering we now use the metoo as a spare when friends come for dinner. The Lobster's design is far superior to the metoo. Seems more comfortable for my son, and is easier to secure to the granite countertop. Love the carrying case it comes in, great for travel. Can't say enough amazing things about this chair. Also for the price, not sure why others would spend so much money to have an annoying highchair cluttering up the kitchen. Fantastic as always Phil and Teds!
